Private Security Training
At Safetell Security Company Limited, we believe that exceptional security begins with exceptional training.
Our comprehensive Training Manual has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ghana Police Service, and all applicable laws regulating private security operations in Ghana.
The manual establishes standardized procedures for recruitment, training, operational conduct, discipline, and performance management for all personnel.

Role of a Security Guard
A security guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining vigilance, controlling access, monitoring activities, reporting incidents, and responding appropriately to security threats and emergencies.

Crowd Control
Crowd control involves managing people and movement in public or private spaces to maintain order, prevent overcrowding, minimize risks, and ensure the safe and orderly movement of individuals during events and emergencies.

Powers of Arrest
Security personnel must understand the legal limits of their authority when dealing with suspected offenders. Any intervention or detention should be carried out lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable laws, with appropriate authorities notified when necessary.

Patrol Techniques
Effective patrol techniques involve systematic observation of premises, identifying unusual activities or security vulnerabilities, checking designated areas, maintaining communication, and promptly reporting suspicious incidents or hazards.

Use of Force
Security personnel should use only the level of force that is lawful, necessary, reasonable, and proportionate to the situation. The priority should always be prevention, de-escalation, and protection of life and safety.

First Aid
Security personnel are often among the first to respond during an emergency. Basic first-aid training enables them to provide appropriate initial assistance, help stabilize an injured or ill person, and seek professional medical assistance promptly.
